The design of the human body is surprisingly flawed when looked at from a scientific view. These flaws cannot be fixed through natural ways because nature is hard to go against. However, there are two fields of scientific research that have shown promise in being able to fix these flaws and make an almost perfect human. The fields of genetics and stem cell research have shown great promise in fixing what we felt were â€Å"natural flaws† in the human body. Genetics and stem cell research are completely different fields, but they are connected by one important issue, fixing these â€Å"natural flaws.† These two fields will be the answer to treating sicknesses, making new cells, and lead to making an almost perfect human being. CRISPR, or Clustered Regulatory Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats, is a gene editing tool that can be the cure to genetic diseases. CRISPR was discovered by Francisco Mojica in 2007 while doing research on bacteria (Zhang 2017). The best way to describe CRISPR’s function is it works like spell check. CRISPR can find â€Å"typos† in the DNA sequence and modify the sequence (Zhang 2017). CRISPR’s discovery has been a breakthrough in the complicated problem that is fighting genetic disorders. CRISPR will lead to new ways of combating genetic disorders and lead to a permanent solution to a serious problem. CRISPR is a new breakthrough, so it has had limited human application. This approach has been used on animals, particularly infected with the HIV virus. Scientists at Temple University used CRISPR to cut the HIV DNA out of the host cell genome (Park 2016). The HIV virus works by injecting RNA into a host cell. The RNA then changes to DNA using an enzyme called Reverse Transcriptase. The DNA is then incorporated into the host cell’s genome, allowing the HIV vir us to be made and assembled in the cell. Once the virus is made, the new virus buds out of the cell and spreads through the body. Case study The selected case study investigates the relationship of community (farmers) participation in policy formation towards rural development of Sri Lana. In this case (Merrey et al., 1992) the alternative approaches to encourage public participation was highlighted aiming rural development by participation in irrigation management. Both the government and NGO’s (non-governmental organisations) jointly implemented a series of activities for enhancing farmer participation in irrigation management. I helped with homework, reading, planning activities, creating the curriculum and a lot more. I stayed with the center throughout the entire school year. When some of the kids came there they were struggling with certain subjects such as reading and math. When they received their first report card the grades were kind of low, but after a while there grades slowly progressed and they were so excited to show me there grades it made me so happy. It made me feel good to know that I made a difference in their lives. After I finished my needed hours for the internship I still stayed at the center because I felt like the kids there needed me and I made a difference in their lives. I guess the director felt I was such a huge help to the students that they decided to hire me full time. Due to lack of funding the center closed down and the students no longer had a place to go. I still keep in contact with some of the parents and students just to see how they are doing and they all say the same thing, I helped them stay on the right path. Every time I see one of them I know that I made a difference. I am now employed with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services where I am a Medicaid Eligibility worker. I determine eligibility for Medicaid for pregnant women, children, and families. My overall reason for wanting a masters degree in school counseling is to better the lives of children, to guide them on the right path, to be there for them in their time of need, and to teach them. Shakespeare makes this scene dramatic in various ways. Prior to Act ii scene v the audience already dislike Malvolio. Malvolio feels able to speak down to Sir Toby who is socially superior because he is full of his own self-importance: My masters are you mad? Or what are you? This makes the audience dislike Malvolio because he thinks that he is better that the others and because he is a puritan he thinks that no one else should have any fun. There are several side effects of the analgesic drugs for instance drowsiness, constipation, fatigue, and anxiety. Constipation is common side effects for opioid drugs and a there should be a treatment plan for each and every pharmacological method in order to save Molly and Paul from any side effects which can affect the treatment plan. As a way to evaluate and meet the treatment need of each patient, the reaction to the drugs should be monitored for behavior and inquiries about the same (Hadjistavropoulos, et al., 2014).
